While searching through the cabinet for some brown sugar, a large jar of sprinkles was knocked out of the very top cabinet. It dropped approximately 5 feet and hit the cold, hard kitchen floor. The jar shattered on impact, scattering rainbow sprinkles everywhere. The clean-up crew was on site for over 20 minutes in a concentrated effort to clear out the crash site immediately. As for the rainbow sprinkles....needless to say, there were no survivors.
This is a sad day for dessert toppings everywhere.
