Durian is good! It smelled bad, but not unbereable. Seems it's mostly the husk anyway... once you take the flesh out it's fine.

The taste.. very custardy, creamy, very tasty! Deffinitly unusual.. though I'd compare it a little to banana and mango. But better. I can see why so many love it.. though I think it'll take some getting used ot for me.

I like it best combined with other fruit... blended with banana and mango was GREAT, since it made it a little less 'odd', but didn't contrast the taste at all. If that makes sense.
