Went out to indy today; got my new server racked up and ready to go. It's on the slowest fucking connection known to mankind... my workplace put me on the 256K switch instead of the T1. Bastards. But hey, don't look a gift horse in the mouth, I guess.
Buuuut, I have more exciting news! I signed for an apartment today. I'm living on the outskirts of broadripple, which is about a 20-30 minute commute from my job (I think). I found some great apartments right by this cute little river, all next to the bars and shops and whatnot, but I eventually decided to sign for the crappy apartment down the street, so I wouldn't get too attached to living in indiana. =)
My life has had some serious fucking drama recently. The whole thing has really put my head through the spin cycle. All I'm gonna say is that my nice, perfect, storybook ending which I had spent so much time writing and deploying has finally unraveled after about a month. Just when you think a person has completely left your life, they find the most interesting ways of re-entering it...
