Quite the week plus it has been. Partied pretty hard over the previous weekend as evidenced by a previous blog. Off to Club DNA for the Rotersand, Imperative Reaction, and Covenant show Sunday night. A really good show I thought. It seems to have rec'd some mixed reviews, but the club was great, the music was great, and the drinks were great. Rotersand impressed me as I wasn't quite sure what to expect, Imperative Reaction was OK, and Covenant was Covenant. Their music is always good and they put on a good show. I even got to talk to Joakim again not that he really remembered me. He was just walking thru the crowd during Imperative Reaction and no one noticed him. I had to say hello. It was the first time I talked with him since DC when friends and I who worked at Club Heaven & Hell helped put on the first live webcast of one of their shows. Yes that is bragging a bit, but they were so excited at the time and called all their friends in Europe to wake them up to watch. We had fun reminiscing. Monday night was Ladytron at the Fillmore. Such a great venue and such a great band! I really like Ladytron; enough said. Chilled for the week then Saturday I went out night with my new roommate and had a blast. Met some good people as well. We stayed up all night, but had a great time chilling and talking. Since then it has been a mellow week; work and the usual. I wonder what this upcoming Halloween weekend holds. Anyone with great plans?? Especially here in San Francisco??
