ELECTION DAY:
A Democrat and a Republican are walking down the street together when the two of them chance upon a homeless man. The Republican approaches the man and hands him a business card. He tells the man to stop by sometime and the Republican would get him a job there. Then the Republican reaches into his pocket and pulls out $50, which he hands to the homeless man.
The Democrat was touched by the Republican's generosity. Further down the same path, the Republican and the Democrat chanced upon another homeless man. This time the Democrat approached the man. He gave the man directions to the closest welfare office. Then the Democrat reached into the Republican's pocket and pulled out $100, which he hands to the homeless man.
If you have to ask which way I lean ... I'll pull out the gun which I have a right to bear and shoot you.
