huh. for some reason I thought I had already responded to this one. oops.

Well anyway weddings are the hardest things to plan, because of the whole tension between what you want, what your mom wants and if you're extra special lucky, what the in-law wants.

When my brother got married, I finally had to tell my mom not to call me anymore if all she was going to do was complain about the wedding, because of course EVERYTHING was wrong with a wedding that had almost nothing to do with her.

Which is why I'm not getting married. Well that and I'd need a girlfriend first .

But it sounds kinda like she's trying to sabotage the whole thing. .

Hey, if you wanted I could come up with a bunch of different ways to say "Shut the hell up, it's my goddamn wedding you old cow." You know, with varying degrees of subtlety.

I honestly don't understand why people like that can''t see that they're adding a lot of undue stress to the whole thing. It's YOUR day for craps sake. They already had theirs.
