You could always just look into talking to a therapist regularly to get out any emotions you need to talk about. I dont recommend prescription drugs to ANYONE EVER because I think they fuck people up.
I understand how you feel, bipolar disorder runs in my family. at time i feel much like you have described but am always second guessing myself, do i feel like this because of the disorder or is it because i suspect i may be. much like someone else scratching and suddenly your itchy.
im currently working up the courage to talk to some one about it,might be an idea if you feel that you would benefit from it.
Well, bipolar is not crazy in my opinion, and I have two friends with it who do fine with that condition. You may be bipolar, my only concern would be the suicidal parts, making sure you have a support group you can call up if you feel any urge to give into it. One of my friends channels the darker moods into art and mixing music, the other self-medicates with pot which helps brings all her moods toward center without any of the side-affects of the chemicals they try to prescribe to you, and without going on your record. If you are really seriously feeling suicidal then do seek treatment (imho), but otherwise just be aware of it and try some of those things and see if they help - and I think there is a bipolar group on SG you can join up too, may want to talk there and see what people suggest.
The other thing of course, if this is somewhat recent as opposed to ongoing, is that you may just have something deeply suppressed that you are not consciously aware of and that is acting out in different ways. At that point a good therapist may help? Just make sure it is one recommended by a friend, bad therapists can deal more damage to a person that most people can imagine. There are also various spiritual practices that may help but those are personal things so I won't offer suggestions on that. Good luck! *hugs*
I hope that group help! And I am not a therapist or trained as such, and even after I go through my official hypnotherapy training won't be allowed to call myself that, but if you do need or want someone to talk with for free I am happy to help? It seems I usually end up playing a therapist on tv (figure of speech) and most people seem to be happy with me in that role so... happy to help for free until you find someone you can afford who is a trained professional? Just message me if you want / need that.
I work in mental health. A good rule of thumb is that if you think you're going crazy, you probably aren't. Self awareness is usually a good sign that what you're experiencing isn't pathological. That doesn't mean it doesn't suck though.
All sorts of things can cause experiences like that, from low blood sugar to anaemia to thyroid issues.
Do talk to someone if you're concerned. Doing that won't kill your creative edge. Promise.
