My 4th was pretty OK - I had my son 2 extra days (yesterday and today). We went to see Transformers 3 on the actual 4th .

Quitting jobs certainly feels like the floor dropping out from under you. Every time I've had to pick up and move like that, something better always comes along. Hope your holiday was awesome and tell him, "Chin up!"
