Besides "the things that you want won't come to you, so you better go and get them," nothing comes to mind. Probably because I'm hungry. I really should time my posts better...

I think of moving to Japan daily. No, I'm quite serious... daily.

A modeling gig there would be perfect for you.

I have a friend (that kinda looks like you) who did modelling in Japan. It was alright for her but she ended up running back to Canada. Maybe it was just culture shock or something. Its the hardest thing to find what you're good at and what you love to do. Just hold on and you'll figure it out.

I'm totally in a similar spot right now. I moved up to Seattle on a whim hoping that would bring change, and it did. But like you said, there are all these ambitions and hopes and ambitions one can get wrapped up in. For me it's music. I'm just wishing for some break, to meet some good musicians, get something going, but I'm not finding anything that clicks. It's frustrating feeling stuck, like things won't change.

The only advice I have is to keep your chin up. The rut you're in will go away some time, hopefully soon. It's overwhelming when all those emotions are tensing through you, but it will get sorted out in time, I assure you. Hope everything goes well.

maybe you should go to japan... the do like caucasian girls, and you might be able to hook up some good modeling gigs there.... but I think you should just stop and breath for a moment. think about what you want to do... what you like to do, and draw up a plan to do it. what are your priorities right now? smile

I think we're all at that point hun. I know I am.

Nothing I say can provide any type of answer that you may seek, but I can say that I wish you luck and hope you are able to get through this rut. You are surrounded by those who are willing to lend you an ear and a shoulder to lean on. Best wishes.
