Continuing with @fredhincanada’s gauntlet, my favourite book series is Karen Traviss’s “Republic Commando” series. She never finished it because Star Wars went a different way with the Mandalorians and clones, which is a shame because I liked her take on Mandalorian culture a lot. Don’t get me wrong, I liked what they did with it in the shows, too. I just wish they could have combined the two instead of just dropping this content. Also, given she was a military journalist, her take on some aspects of the Clone Wars and the formation of the Empire were interesting.
