I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: though I was initially drawn to SG purely for the eye candy, I was pleased to discover that this community offers so much more than that. Of all the spaces on the internet, this place is amongst the most positive and uplifting, in my opinion. It legit gives me some hope for our species as a whole, which is quite the feat, given the turmoil our combined civilizations have suffered over the generations.
SG has undergone some changes - both recently and in years past - that have been met with frustration and resistance, and I have not been immune to this. However, I do believe that if any community has a shot of coming out of a dark patch, it’s this one. There are so many good, kind, supportive souls in this place. Just thinking about it now makes me tear up a little. Everyone here should be proud to take part in this, whether you’re a manager, administrator, model, photographer, or a member like myself. I’m grateful for the opportunity to be here and to be able to express myself, and I hope everyone here feels that they can participate openly without fear.
