This happened to me during the last heatwave.

I decided to have an iceblock after having to spend an hour driving home in 38 degree heat. As I was eating said iceblock, I thought to myself "hmmmmm, I really don't feel like this just now...I think I will have some water instead".

So, I carefully put the iceblock on a plate on the kitchen table to have later

Y'know...the mysterious thing is, I couldn't find it anywhere!!
