Strange to be an immigrant. Most of the time I understand everything that's going on, and then someone hits me with a complicated separable verb...then I'm scunnered again.
I've registered with the authorities (which you have to do here), joined the library, found lots of work, finally after 2 WHOLE MONTHS got my tax number, and arranged for the final move from Scotland. Furniture, cats and Taffboy are arriving in the next 2 weeks. Somehow I have to fit this around my working schedule. I work with 3 language schools and a diary is an absolute necessity...
Now to finish my Christmas shopping. It's cheaper for me to bring everything back and post it from Scotland, so I am gearing up for a raid on Karstadt.
