Just back from Caithness...thank the gods for Loganair, for otherwise a nice 1 hour plane journey (with a wee dram) would be replaced by a 8 hour misery marathon courtesy of Scotrail, who seem to have some conscientious objection to cleaning the filthy stinking lavvies 
on their snail-slow overheated trains. Fuck the carbon footprint. As soon as I get my driving licence I will be whizzing up and down the A9 in a hire car with nice loud music playing, with a stop-off in Brora for an ice-cream. 
Thought I would share my new hair colour with you:

Cats are pleased to have me home and have had me pinned to the bed most of the day so that they can purr at me.
