And those days will come, trust me. So much, you will be sick of them. Right now is a transition period. Very schizoid. But remember that God created Colorado to train the faithful (and if you get this reference, I will adore you).
Also, that photo of you is pretty cool. I wonder what I'd look like.
I'm sure since you went to school here you might be familiar with ESF? I have several friends and also my brother in law that went to Grad School there and are now either jobless or working jobs that they shouldn't (one is a baker for a national chain making barely over minimum wage)! It's tough out there. But hold strong and don't settle for less lady. You can do it!
Wow, love the picture. Sorry about the job hunt. I'm in the same boat so I "feel your pain." Well maybe not the worn out labia although my nether regions are about to get the same treatment as I pull out the bike and start commuting to the waterfront via velo. Still haven't found a saddle that doesn't smash the man bits.
Back to the picture. I know a guy who does tin-types. has that great antique quality. I used to shoot exclusively in black and white on a 1966 SLR. I'm still convinced that those were some of the best pics I've ever taken. The quality of the lens and the ability to manipulate the images in the darkroom made it possible for me to really highlight portions of the frame. The black and white brought out contrasts that were hidden in color.
Looking forward to seeing more of your experiments!
Great pic. The most important thing to remember about job hunting is that it is not about you, it is about the job market and what other people think they want. Relax, breath deep and have faith in yourself and the Universe.
Bike seats were designed by people heavy into BDSM.
My fake resume which didn't talk about my education got me more call backs than my real one. Having particularly specific degrees seems to turn people off.
Most of the time if I put open availablility on an app, they call back.
I guess companies lilke it if you endenture yourself to them.....even if its only Taco Bell.........those damn gorditas....ahhhhhh
Tornadoes?! It seems as though you've moved into the maelstrom, haha.
I know that it's difficult to stay positive when job hunting, but it is the best thing that you can do. I'm sure that you'll find something in short order.
...and that's one hell of a photograph. Good stuff!
