I live in a rural area, so I've accidentally hit my share of small animals on the road. Once, not long after I started to drive, I was driving late at night, and I saw this car pulled over on the side of the road with its front all smashed in. I stopped to see if I could be of some help. The driver, a nice elderly woman, had hit a deer, but hadn't killed it. The deer was fatally wounded, in a lot of pain, and trying to crawl into the woods. It's one of the tougher things I've done, but I put it out of its misery. Not a good night, I assure you.

I hope your dad feels better.

Yes, that is me in the bukkake picture. Alas, not a real bukkake scene. Merely an oatmeal face mask.
enelysion:
Yeah, lets be buddies! About blockbuster fascists... Who watches a movie five times in a row? Seriously now, who? I don't wanna spend 3 bucks on five nights, I just want a buck for one night. Damn you Blockbuster, damn you!

You can tell I'm pretty sensitive about this... good times though, good times.
drpirate:
ARRR!!! Even the most fierce creatures (man or beast) have a soft spot somewhere inside of them; That is what gives most of them the abillity to be so fierce/strong/powerful... that is also one of the reasons they diserve Respect! I have had the same problem with the bird feeder with cats as well as squirrels until I started hanging it with a piece of rope from the clothes line. Now only birds use it. biggrin kiss
unknowntrigram:

one_pure_thought:
When I was 10 I killed a morning glory with my BB gun. I cried profusely and buried it in the side of my house, telling my sister to get then shoebox of her newly bought shoes "because it deserves the best". I could never be a hunter, If I ever shot a deer I'd probably get so sad I'd shoot myself next.
sigma:
Well, not all the SGs, but yeah. Just don't tell anyone I said it any I think I'll be ok.
lightbulbjack:
I accidentally ran over so baby geese while I was on the high way. I was passing a truck on a curve and by the time I saw then in the rod it was too late. It was a momma and 7 little ones. I think I killed like 5 of them. I felt so bad. I pulled off at the next exit for a while.
At work when they set a mousetrap in my lab, I waited until the exterminator guy was gone then tripped it so it wouldnt hurt the mouse. Im a big softy; I dont like to kill anything.

You asked me before if I liked classic or modern pin-ups? I think I trend to like modern moor, but there is some really great classic ones as well. The one I posted on your journal I thought was funny. If you look at his work, that girl cant go anywhere with out her undies fall off.

Other last word. wink
welntaod:
Oh. frown Nothing can be so sad as your seeing your Dad cry over killing something... Closest I've ever come is passing over a squirrel who froze still while I drove over him. There was no "ka-thunk, ka-thunk" sound so, I'm sure I didn't drive on him. As passed, I looked in my rear-view & saw it jump straight into the air and run away. biggrin
reverendash:
Have any of you ever accidentally killed an animal? Or maybe even on purpose?

Nope, not that I can recall.

Hey, I have an important question: Can you get over an ear infection by just suffering with it and waiting it out or have you always taken medicine to get over them?
oddwobbler:
I once ran over a pigeon with my mom in the car. It was the strangest thing, it was just sitting in the road and it looked up at us, then there was a few thuds under the car and a bunch of feathers in the rear view. I didn't really feel bad because he saw us coming at it, but didn't seem to care, my mom just freaked. About a week later me and the gf came home to see another pigeon sitting in the street, she shuffled it off the road but a hour later it was back in the street again, the next morning there was just a flat ball of feathers in the road. Suicidal pigeons... go figure
pr0ject605:
yeah, I did something completely by accident once that crushed me... and I felt like crap for a long time afterwards because I'm a big animal lover. frown

On the lighter side of things, your Bday is the day right before mine, and this year our birthdays are on a weekend! I'll have to keep you in mind at midnight and give a mental hug or something to you. smile
drpirate:
ARRR!!! I don't have many CD's so if we would get together we would be all set wink kiss love kiss
pr0ject605:
Same person eh? I don't see that happening, considering you have much nicer... *ahem* parts than I do. Which, by the way, I'd like to thank you for sharing. wink
The only person I've ever met who had the same birthday as me was this really cute girl who I found out later liked me, but I couldn't hook up with her anyway cause I was too shy and she was friends with my ex. Ahh well...

Kuwait eh? Is that where I'm from this week? hehe I change that all the time. Much like you I'm sure, unless you're really in Budapest. tongue I actually live in Pittsburgh right now, but that may be changing soon.
I've taken up enough of your journal space for now. I'll disappear now. *poof*

That sucks. I've run over a bunny rabbit on the high way once. I felt so bad cuz I saw him out on the road and tried to swerve to miss him and he jumped right infront of me again. I was so sad I wanted to go back, pick him up and take him to a vet. frown frown frown
stepchild13:
No, can't say I've ever done anything like that. My Aunt's dog always chases squirrels out back her house. They too have bird feeders, and if she (the dog) sees a squirrel on it she goes nuts and wants to be let out. She's caught a few, and I always feel bad. And now on with the show....

Alrighty, well first it tells me my number is eight, which is crazy because its part of my aim screen name (agtorange8) and my email address for 6 years. I also have always picked that number as a lucky one for some unknown reason, freaky. I agree with the parts where I am identified as kind hearted and warm, not to sound full of myself though. I also agree with the silent anger part. I often can hide my feeling even with a friend if I am angry with them. I always shy away from confrontation; I just dont like it. I also tend to be pessimistic, thinking of the worse sometimes. I always forget about that brighter spot. I enjoy children and pets (most the time anyway), I have a pretty small family, so I do value them a lot, and consider myself sensitive. My friend describes me as Quiet, but when he does say something, its either funny or intelligent. So there is a good deal I agree with in the analysis.

Things I disagree with, well Im certainly not a good housekeeper. My room looks like shite most the time. And I normally dont think of myself as making friends very easily. Its because of the quietness, I can never tell if people even noticed me let alone think of me as a possible friend. Im not really serious about my birthday or showing people my accomplishments; Im not one to draw attention to myself.

So over all, I seem to agree with a lot of it. Sorry it took so long for me to get to this, but Ive been slightly sick and really tired the past week. I must also apologize for taking up so much damn space! And last but not least.... the Boy shorts pic?!?!? Happy B-day to me!!!! eeek love eeek love blush
