i was talking a walk this morning... and saw something that just made me cry...
this little boy was sitting outside his house, maybe 4 or 5 years old, crying... listening to his parents screaming at each other inside the house. I asked the little boy "why are you outside"... he told me "maybe if i disappeared, they would forget about me and stop yelling at each other and God will love them, since its all my fault."... my response "what makes you think its your fault." and his heartbreaking statement... "Because my daddy said God stopped blessing this house when I came here"
That is just... depressing, Im not a religious person, in any sense, but something about that little boy sitting outside at 5am, just really got me... I was in a weird mood all day long...
I want to go walking every morning now.. I normally run, but when you run, you miss everything, but when you walk, you see it all... the little things that make everything so great... whew...
I finally got down the Walls of Jericho song I have been practicing for weeks on the bass with... woohah I eff'n rock!
