I wanted to tell you how much I respect your decision and the stand you're taking. I'm very conflicted about it myself... I agree with what you said in the Feminists group thread re: MacKinnon & how accepting Playboy's money is an implicit validation of their politics.
I'm giving myself the rest of the month to think about, talk to feminist friends about it, etc. It's definitely troubling.

i agree, but as apathetic as it may seem, it's hard to not buy into, affiliate with, or in any other way indirectly support something that i don't beleive in. the cigarette companies that are owned by the war ,machines are making our children's breakfast cereals.
