Shame about the venue: - too big, too packed and the sound wasn't great either...Still Pixies were on form and extremely intense...just what we want from the best band in the word...methinks! smile

Pixies were excellent! I wish I went to both nights at Alexander Palace. There's an intensity to their live shows which you have to see. eeek smile The two song which really came across well live were Vamos and Where is my mind? Kim Deal has got a great voice and she compliments Black Francis vocals so well. Joey's guitar riffs and phrases were fantastic. It was Pixies heaven!!! I'm looking forward to seeing White Stripes in November. Who did you see play live last? Were they good?

Awesome! The Pixies eeek The next gig I am totally like uberly violently excited about is Cut Copy at ULU (they rock!) followed two nights later by Ladytron. Heaven!!! love
