Isaac's gone. My apartment never lost power. We did lose cable, but not until late last night. It was back up and running when I woke up this morning. We watched the storm push and push and push at this old tree in front of my building until it finally twisted and cracked and fell over into the empty lot next door.
I'm thankful it wasn't worse for us, but I'm also thinking about and praying for all those people who got it a lot worse than I did.
