yeah latin is the most beautiful and expressive language i know. when you look at the varities of expression it gave rise to...i mean classical latin poetry versus the "vulgar" latin of the middle ages...its just so heart-achingly beautiful.

you should learn it. it takes a lot fo work though but the rewards are well worth it. and contrary to popular belief its not "harder" or "smarter" to learn latin than other lnaguages. just think if roman boys and girls could do it so can you! as the pope's latin secretary says to his classes, "roman dogs knew latin! cats knew latin! babies knew latin! slaves new latin! and you cant conjugate a verb!? baaaah!"
