Let's be honest here: Valentines Day is a sham. Common sense and every fortune cookie in the world tells you that you can't buy love. Why is it, then, that so many people put so much stock in a holiday that asks you to validate your love for someone by buying them material things? If you love someone, you should be able to show it in various ways at any given time. If buying roses or jewelry on the 14th of February is a make or break situation, your relationship IS NOT HEALTHY. Just my jaded opinion. Fuck Cupid!
