Disappointment. That's been the lesson life has been teaching me recently. How to handle disappointment.
How to deal with my attachment to my own expectations, and the occations when those expectations are not met.

First- the issue with my debut match not being filmed, and how that frustrated me greatly.
Now- my date for friday night has been cancelled (postponed?). I was really excited to go out with this girl and get to know her better and see if we're compatable beyond just the kind of light surface conversations we've been having at the gym. But she has to pick up a shift at a 2nd job to both make some money, and to help out her family. And I can completely understand those things, and let her know such, but it's still a bummer... made worse by the fact that I've kinda been scrounging to have money for the date in the first place, and then turned down a shift bouncing to make sure I'd have my friday night free.
But we're still talking, and she's appreciative of my understanding, so perhaps in the end this will be a better thing as she recognizes my character through the setbacks *shrug*
Still though, disappointing.
But again, as I said, learning to handle my disappointment is apparently the lesson I need to learn right now. I'm open to that.
Now I suppose I'll just go ahead and use friday as a final project writing day. My very last major paper I have to complete. (this semester anyway)

I finally got registered for my summer classes. It's unfortunate I will not be able to take any of my core degree classwork due to restrictions in how my GI Bill works, so I'm taking Statistics, and General Psychology. Should be an interesting couple months. I'm still rocking straight As in my current 4 classes, hopefully I can keep that trend going.
