my best friend in the world (okay, other than my fiance and my sister) recently moved to chicago.
yeah, suckage. because i live in NH. but hey, groove, score one for your team! damnit.
she is one of those friends that when you get together, you finish each others sentences
and reminisce of all the wacky things you did in college, make fun of old relationships, etc...
she moved at the end of december
and i just barely got to talk to her for the first time today since before she moved
we always joke about being lesbian lovers, but i really feel like my heart is broken now that she's gone
it's also broken because of why she's gone - and she's so fucked up because of all that happened.
i wish i had taken more advantage of the fact that she was only an hour away
because now she's like 15 hours away and i feel like i need to go rescue her
yet she'd never admit that she needs rescuing...
i hate that as we grow older, everyone we love spreads out farther and farther
