Jeez, some people have no sense of what great entertainment is. To answer your question, yes I came alone. There were 14 others that came to the show from Marin. I'll be seeing them tomorrow night at our usual Friday night hangout. I'll get thier input from the show & pass it along.
Check out Erich's and CorsetQueen's journals... so far, it's just the three of us - nothing wild, just meet and greet...
Although I still don't remember (and won't until I see his face), Erich and I met at the Raven; I'm also hoping to get Vimian on board, as he was also there and as nice as you could ever hope for
so, really, not a huge deal... I know you can do it!
Edited to add: Yay! This was my first time inserting members names and it worked! I know it's dorky, but, there are so very few things these days that bring me joy
(goes to find straws to grasp at...)
DUMB DUMB DUMBASS! That's me. . . . you are so so so SO very right. .. . .had to edit my comment. . . . still have 900 lashes of penance to go. . . for the uninitiated - go to[GRAND BUFFET and order yourself a HEAPING PILE of inspiration. . .just buy the whole fucking catalogue and be done with it. You'll thank me later.
Finally, someone on the other end chimes in via email:
"Oh hey! Kick ass! I wanted to send the Suicide Girls a thank you note,
but I went to their site, and couldn't find any generic address to
send it to! Do you know how I could contact the girls that performed
that night? I want to thank them for dancing to AC/DC's "You Shook Me
All Night Long", and re-creating the straight razor scene from
"Reservoir Dogs". That kicked ass. Oh, and the prop gun was killer as
well. My three favorite things in life are firearms, beer, and lovely
young women. I'd like to thank you for hosting them, and I'd like to
thank them for doing what they do! It was like being in heaven."
