I had fully intended to go to work tonight; I had fully intended to go to class today, but nether one happened.
I sleep though the alarm this morning and got up to move my car so I didn't get a ticket, and searing pain shot though my lower back. I moved my car but needed my cane to get back up the hill to my apartment.
And things have been really good with Blue and I the last couple of days so one more day can't hurt.

those back injuries take time to heal, it felt like I was being poked in the back witth a stick for 1 1/2 years before the pain mellowed. now it's just uncomfortable most of the time.
