Okay, time I update this thingit.
I have today off work. Sipping coffee, smoking cigarettes.
I cooked last night.. so now I'm contemplating when I'll do the dishes. Every so often I'll look in the kitchen - just checking to see if they're still there.
I was really tired yesterday. I don't know what time i fell asleep.. but the boy woke me up around 6a.m. to see if I was supposed to go to work. Then I went back to sleep until around 10 a.m.
The Carlos Castaneda movie is in town until the 22nd. I've been waiting for this for months and have to go see this! I'm gonna try and catch the Wednesday matinee.
I think the Independent Film Festival is going on right now. I'm gonna miss that again this year. ::pout:: I'm the only person I know who likes shit like that, and have spent many times in theatres alone watching indie flicks. I dunno what it is... the crowds are tamer for one thing. I never once had to deal with teens talking on cell phones or toddlers screaming at an indepentent film screening (okay, well, except for the Blair Witch Project - and that doesn't count. Who the hell brings toddlers to shit like that anyway?? ). And I've never once had the back of my seat kicked.
The films also tend to allow the viewer's intellect to participate. I enjoy being able to think while watching a movie, instead of sitting there brain dead and drooling. Most movies are so predictable. Even the ones with "suprise endings" and "plot twists". Like that one Bruce Willis flick.. the dead people movie? How could you NOT know the guy was dead??? I couldn't believe that was the big suprise everyone was talking about. He got killed in the opening scene for crying out loud!!
>>end rant.
Anyway. I suppose I'll go sit in front of the TV for awhile. Brain dead and drooling. Of course. I'll postpone beer o' clock until maybe 3 p.m. today. Heh.

Independent films kick ass
I believe movies that are over-produced loose artistic quality and personality or something like that
Theres one coming up from Germany called Goodbye Lenin. If you dont mind a reader, it looks like it will be a good one.

Love that look you got, Miss Sita. Truly classy, but not in a boojie way.
