I went to Goodwill today. Found a First Black Cat Edition of Naked Lunch by William S. Burroughs. It has excerpts from the trial in Massachusettes. I'm afraid to read it. Best get a new copy that I can mangle. I read the book when I was 14.. so, no doubt I understood next to none of it.
Boyfriend is at band practice. We're supposed to get together for cocktails later tonight. I wanted to go out to dinner, but he probably won't be done with practice until 10 or 11p.m.
I'm teaching myself to knit. I haven't knitted since I was probably 8 or 9. Jeez, I can't believe how challenging this is for me. I keep my stitches so tight it's hard to get them off the needle. I can't find my crochet needles, so I must learn to knit. I really want to make a new tam for my locs.
