Where to begin. Time for a quick breath before the wave carries me to the new year in the blink of an eye. Things are stable, good, time is flying like it hasn't in ages. Work is going really well, I feel I'm cooking at a level far above any other time in the past. Time to start pushing, I want to open a restaurant, in London in 5 years time. I think if I push it's more than possible. The girl is good, struggling a bit with the dullness of office life, but at least she has my troublesome antics to keep life interesting!
Lunches start soon, working from 7am-11pm 6 days a week will be insane! The double pay makes it well worth it. I'll probably go on some huge shopping spree when I'm back in the states for christmas.
I saw Damien Jurado Last week, an astoundingly good show, he has so much presence and feeling. I'm also pleased with his love of the murder ballad.
I went to the west end to meet the girl for lunch today. I need to stay away from there till the new year, the crowds drive me up a wall and I hate crowded tube trains. I think I'll just stay in my east london hole til summer.
