symbidium:
Careful darling, you may find youself really enjoying it here!

Crazy weekend eh...? Care to share? Eh? eh? wink
symbidium:
shouldnt you be at work?! Careful you know exactly where the bus stops.... there are lots of routes go through 5ways.
gigondas:
Boring? Never, my man. I think after the last year, being at rest might be a bit freakish for y'all.

And why didn't you get married in that tux? Maybe for the five-year anniversary?
tiger_fodder:
Good to see you are doing well in the UK. smile
conjure:
Nesting is always good, are you guys heading into winter there, or just out of it?

Glad you're happy anyways, always nice to read a positive report smile
missshell:
where in the UK are you settling?
kittyvalentine:
Thank you. smile

The Neil Young quote this week seems to be a popular one. I never realised there were so many of his fans lurking on here!

I think my problems with ME first started around 9 years ago around exam time when I was in my last year or so of high school. Was sleeping 18 hours a day then and have suffered on and off with varying degrees until the present.

I'm surprised to hear that you would like more fresh produce to work with. Fresh and local seems to be very 'in' amongst consumers and chefs right now, but the more the better, I suppose!
kittyvalentine:
See, the Indian slant on sea bass sounds like a good modern twist on British food. I like and appreciate clever twists like that, but spring rolls... come on! I'm not even a chef and that makes me angry. Everything in its place, eh?

I never knew about that particular nugget of music trivia - so thank you again!

My thyroid was one of the first things doctors checked out on me, it was underactive for a time, but it apparently corrected itself not so long after. I've not had much luck with the medical profession and getting answers or help, most of them seem to be reluctant to diagnose ME and only suggest. Though a doctor from the DWP I spoke to a few years ago spoke to me for ten minutes about it and had no doubt in his mind it was ME.
symbidium:
are you working all weekend this week? I might go to this on Friday. Morcheeba are playing.
Moseley Folk Festival

Edit: Stuff Morcheeba, i've just seen they're doing Extreme Knitting!! Im sold!
symbidium:
Oh and if we can rustle up about 100k, fancy stealing a peek at this
Custard Factory Wants a new Restaurant

kittyvalentine:
God, I'd really love to have a go at trimming down that menu. Shh. One of my long-term guilty pleasures is that I love menu planning.

But yeah, definite identity crisis - like British vs. Asian vs. Continental European.

It still made my tummy rumble, though. wink
symbidium:
No i wasnt actually.
Im super busy today.
Just when i'm super tired too.
Sorry no time to stalk
kittyvalentine:
Sounds good to me!

I am ok today. Really tired again and feeling a bit negative, but I'm fighting it. smile
kittyvalentine:
I'm hoping that in not too long I'll have a job to distract me for a while and then I can focus on the fun bit - moving!
jena:
Forgive me in advance if I've misunderstood your comment:

1. Oh yes what a time it was.

2. SDRE was totally part of that time period-or am I thinking '95 on? I never cared for them but I remember post high school friends did...so maybe i'm wrong on my years. smile

3. Oh Elliott...thank you, that was one of my favorite songs. I believe that was his best album, too.

4. Sup Pop selling out by '89? I know they were bought out for Bleach but I never associated them with sell out. I still think they're putting out good music today.

Thanks for reading my yapping. smile
kittyvalentine:
Urgh. I may have to break the rule I've set myself in the last few months and get in touch with the ex and ask him very nicely to keep my stuff until the new year, so I can just have my stuff moved to Brighton instead. Will save hassle and money, maybe. We'll see!

I've heard dribs and drabs of Neutral Milk Hotel. So far I've liked what I've heard. Another of the myriad of bands/artists I should be listening to more. smile
