Nice to meet you Sidewalker. Yeah, I really like DAC's music, especially the older stuff. I've heard the X rated stuff and some of it is funny, but some of it is pretty lame. We met DAC before his show in Bakersfield last year and I had him autograph my arm. After the show and quite a few beers, I stumbled down to the nearest tattoo place and had the autograph tattooed. I've seen DAC four times and it's been 50/50. 2 of the shows were great, played a lot of the old stuff, plus all the stuff off "Biketoberfest". The other 2 shows were slow.....lots of new songs with just him playing guitar and singing......still, it's great to see him live.
It was really cool to meet DAC. We asked one of the security guys at the Bakersfield show if we could go talk to him. He went and asked DAC and we got the nod. DAC is super mellow and doesn't say much. His son Tyler is really cool and a bit more talkative. Still, we BS'd for a few minutes and got his autograph. Check out his website, www.officialdavidallancoe.com for upcoming tour dates. If he ever gets out your way, be sure to check him out.
