So Wednesday night, I went to see a band that a few friends of mine from Santa Cruz, CA. are in. I met two beautiful Australian gals that were here on vacation, and be came their "bodyguard" because there were these creepy guys leering and circling them like vultures. We ended up hanging out the rest of their visit here in Austin... they left Friday morning... and both are already claiming to come back in 6-8 months to visit me. Now I am amazed that I could make such an impression on women from a foreign country and I still have a hard time getting a second date from girls that live in my own city.
I don't believe in trying to falsely impress people, I state my mind, and while I know I am not the best looking guy around I also know that I am not ugly, hell I would even dare say that I am a solid 7 on a 1-10 scale. Also it seems I have better luck at being a match maker then pairing myself up with someone.
It's funny with these two gals from Australia the gal I was most interested in kept saying that I was her friends mate. The first gal was very cute about 5'4", 28 y/o, dark hair, rockabilly style and tattooed. The second gal was 5'6", 23 y/o, platinum blonde, barbie doll style with no ink at all. Both claim that I showed them the greatest time and was the highlight of their trip so far.
Austin gals... I have been on three first dates in five months and all have not resulted in a second date. Nobody calls me back, nobody returns my emails. Now one could argue that these gals were from out of town and were my captive audience but, I don't believe that is true. I said good night the first night thinking I would never see them again, even though I gave them my email address and phone number. Fortunately for me they called me the next morning asking if I would be available again and how soon they could see me. They had made plans to go see a comedy show and a Bastille Day celebration and told me they would be up to doing something else if I didn't want to do either. Of course I went to both and we had a blast and now we are "FB" friends and they are emailing me there every day about their latest adventures on the rest of their trip.
