tadzi:
ive been asking that same question and i really dont know. i have my doubts, but that might just be my constant pessimism. i like to think its possible
frankie18:
im a hopeless romantic. i think that relationships can work and you can be happy in them, if your with the right person. these days it seems that people give up too easily and dont want to work at them. or they overanalyze every little aspect of the relationshop comparing it to the media/societies standards. i think the biggest problem though is that people mistake love for lust. or dont want to be alone and stay in the relationship as form of selfassurance. if both people are truely in love though, then i think that it is of course entirely possible for the relationship to work.
alisa:
to answer your question: yes yes yes and double double YES!!!! love

i fell in love with my best friend in 89 and we were just friends with benefits for years until i couldn't stand it and i moved all the way to seattle and we didn't see each other and start hanging out again until almost 7 yrs later. now 3 yrs later we're married and celebrating our 1yr anniversary today!!! i love him more now than i ever thought possible and i never ever thought in a million years that he would ever feel toward me anything more than true friendship. but now we're in love and i hope it never ends and i hope that you find it and everyone finds what i feel everyday.... i have a pic of us up from the other day if you want to se a current photo. i love him more than anything and he's still my best friend. so yeah i sort of thing it's possible....biggrin

kiss
cherry:

isn't ron jeremy just the STRANGEST phenomenon!?!
he is so ugly it HURTS.
what's up with that?

night1:
yeah...Ron Jeremy...that's a hard one...it's really difficult to say whether I would give up the body and life I have now (not that it's the greatest body...but it's definitely better than Ron's) for having a lifestyle and body like Ron's...let me think on that...

as for relationships...well...the first thing I can say, is it's not easy...I've been with my wife for nearly 9 years now...and we've had our ups and down, but I've been happy for the majority of it...but the most important thing is communication, and making sure your partner knows what you like or dislike about the relationship, and working on those issues

but...all-in-all, it's definitely possible...don't give UP!! biggrin

...and thx for the encouraging words on the adoption smile
rosalyn:
I most deffinatly think it's possible to have a good and happy relationship! I think it's important to 'live for today' though... so many people consider a good relationship a waste of time just because it didn't last. Hey, it doesn't have to last - have fun and be in love, and if it ends, well it was good while it lasted.

Also, as Night said, communication is important...

Hmm.. I've seen the hollywood version of The Ring... I liked it - the special effects were pretty well done. Even though the Japanese version wouldn't have these modern special effects, I don't doubt it'd be even freakier...

My girlfriend makes me happy and I could not imagine being without her.

Ron Jeremy, however, leaves me somewhat cold... wink
voltaire:
It is possible......
reptar:
Relationships are under the same pressure as they always have been it's just that now there are more options to end it, before they would just go on and on being unhappy.

I saw Ring and Ring 2 in a double showing about a year ago, they scared the pants off me. When I was walking back in for the second one I was wondering why I was doing this to myself. I haven't seen Ring 0 yet but I hear it's a bit silly. When you get to see her face it becomes less scary. When I heard there was going to be a hollywood version coming out I felt ill.

I've got an idea for a mixed cd swap. check the sgau board.

I see that Poison the well is one of your favorite bands Yo I get to see them next month on warped tour and I pre ordered their new cd you come before you. I think it is funny that PTW is not on Trustkill anymore but trustkill is taking care of all the pre orders instead of velvet hammer/atlantic it is funny
nuria:
You like gravediggaz and fashion design. *faints*
jrewing:

_lauren_:
I'm retarded happy at the moment.

You should check out 'ring 2' and 'ring 0' cause they are pretty good. not as good as 'the ring' but kinda decent.
tiamat:
*giggle* you running aloe on my back. sigh...

i think it is possible to find such a relationship. it just takes the right click. i am keeping the faith. and though looks aren't everything... you are a hottie and will be given plenty of oppertunity if things don't work out
peter_minger:
Hey! smile
Happy relationships do exist, but they're few and far between...
either that or I'm just a delusional hopeless romantic
*sigh*
webigailboop:
i totally think it's possible to have a relationship that works. i've been with the same person for three years and i'm still completely in love and falling more in love every day. it's all about communication. love can happen and can work. don't give up.

Dang...i need to see the Ring...hear it's wicked scary awesome!! At any rate...was thinking of some different things to send if you can't send the beer....the latest Area 7 (Bitter and Twisted or Say it to my Face) CD or Grinspoon CD(Not Guide to Better Living as i have that one)--both of which i can't find here frown . What i'd really like to see, but can't b/c i don't have a multi zone DVD player is What Becomes of the Broken HEarted, the sequal to Once Were Warriors.

These are just some ideas and i'd really appreciate anything you could send over that i can't get here. I'll look into getting you that hairdye stuff tomorrow as i have off and if there's anything else you can think of, just let me know m'kay. You're the best! biggrin
