Last night I saw perhaps the best live show that I have ever seen in my entire life. My sister, Jesse and I went to 12 Galaxies in SF to see Slim Cessna's Auto Club. I have been a fan of the band's music for quite a while but have never had a chance to see them in person. My sister had seen them before and raved about how amazing their live show was.
Suffice to say that it exceeded any and all expectations that I had of it by a long shot. It was some kind of amazing cathartic/tent revival/mosh pit/prayer session/hoedown all wrapped up in one big package.
I haven't sweated that much at a show since I saw Hot Water Music like 6 years ago.
Slim and Munly are both like 6'6" and probably weigh about 250 combined

I saw them at the Alternative Tentacles Showcase at GAMH many, many years ago. I actually brought my mom along to see them and had the best time. Definitely a good ass time, glad to see they're still making music and performing, will have to see them again.
