smuffy:
what is venison anyway?

it's not deer meat is it?

I really hate any kind of game meat.
smuffy:
I'll give your number to him sure! everyone should use him. haha.

he's an investment dude so he has money.

I had buffalo meat once, which was ok.
smuffy:
I briefly talked to him. I think I mentioned him to you! the short guat dude...I don't know.

but then he did some fucked up shit including shafting me on my birthday, then I got mad and he went MIA. then he called really randomly one night and I let him have it. now this gift card. maybe he feels bad for what he did.
smuffy:
yes and I made a list of things to buy already. I'm so stoked. I needed free money like whoa.
smuffy:
oh god no MA is not the most expensive state to live in at all!

I haven't started my xmas shopping either, but mainly because I'm scared. I tend to overdo it and this year I can't afford to do that, so I'm going to have to do some careful planning.
smuffy:
well I'm just saying there are more expensive states to live, other than hawaii, you bitch!!! tongue

like, say, RI, where I'm going to be living...ans new york and cali, come on. I could go on...or not. haha.
smuffy:
being poor in a big city can always seem better, because you can walk anywhere and do anything.
smuffy:
also I love that video you posted---perfect! D
toothpickmoe:
Nothing wrong with questions. smile

I see him occasionally. LA is a little town, regardless of it's actual size. But it's also pretty easy to lose track of someone.
wendy:
psst. i'm not goin anywhere darlin.
joshxxx:
Dino's is a cozy little italian resteraunt off of plantation street in Worcester. Great date place, bad birthday place...
vaux:
Ah, and a pretty eye it is, too! wink *smooch!*

I dunno why they keep changing thigns though, to go on a serious note for a sec...it kinda sucks. I'm in a "detest change" mode at the moment. Bleeeeargh...

I liked The Piano even though it's sappy in a chick movie sorta way. I've always had a thing for Harvey Keitel, go figure. I also enjoyed Urban Cowboy. I really didn't like From Dusk Til Dawn, tits or no tits. I want to see China Syndrome in its entirety because I remember it being kind of thrilling, and it had that great late-70's look.

Our trip to Ireland will be for two weeks, and with the Christmas holiday being right before it, it feels even longer. I look forward to it all year.

You were right about Alabama being from True Romance. Good girl!
fancyd:

I guess I missed the temporary emoticons disaster. Haven't been posting a lot recently.

Let's see what I found out about your film recommendations (and some random thoughts):

1. The title refers to the concept, mentioned only jokingly in the film, that if an American nuclear plant melts down, it will melt through the Earth until it reaches China. See Wikipedia

2. That must have been the directorial debut of Robert Redford.

3. Great movie. I use it here to refer to another movie (La Pianiste from Michael Haneke where I saw some very angry woman walk out of the movie in London and demanding her money back) and finally a book (on which the movie is based and I think it's worth to read - I was introduced to it by a very funny and sarcastic East-German nurse) called The Piano Teacher (in English).

4. I prefer Four Rooms.

5. I haven't seen a lot of his film work.

6. "It has been claimed that the film fared poorly at the box office, but in fact it grossed almost $54 million in the United States alone, more than Saturday Night Fever (plus a further $24,000,000 in video rentals)." - see Wikipedia

7. "As originally filmed, Carlotta's dog was named Mussolini but due to changing political climate, his name was post-dubbed as Tarzan, even though Marie Dressler's lips are clearly saying the first name." - see IMDB

8. "Two of the actors appeared earlier together in The Unbearable Lightness of Being." - Which ones?

9. "Was a comeback to making films in Hollywood."

10. I would like to see his short "Skaterdater".
