Yah. I was surprised that the Pogues were touring also, although I'd heard that they'd been easing back into it, doing a limited number of shows the past few years.

We just got back, so I'll blog about the concert and our trip later, because I'm going out tonight. Whee! This is turning out to be a fun little vacation!

hey sweetie! you can whine all you want - you are the least whiney person I know on here (and in general!!!!) I am feeling better - I did score an appointment for Monday - I have three appointments though, one for my mammogram, the second for genetic counseling, they are going to screen me for the"genetic mutation" my sister has. I am a little scared, but not too much as I think we fell off different sides of the family tree! The, I have an appointment with a specialist about my tinnutis, I hope they start the cortisone shots (even though they hurt) and then probably physical therapy. I would prefer surgery to get it over with - but managed care sucks!!! But, my sister is doing better, they are scheduling surgery and after that is radiation (or maybe chemo - I always get confused!) I had an amazing date last night - it's a little weird, he's 10 years younger than I am - but we completely had fun! I hope we can still get together for chocolate brunch some weekend - I would love to meet you and D! I hope you are feeling better! It's such a good weekend for tea and woobie clothes!

Oh my I wish I could have called you - so the Vet is in West Hollywood, this area where there is no parking at all AND they were shutting the street down for the Aids walk - so I get there on time which was a miricle because a moving van was blocking my drive-way - so there is no parking at all at the Vet and they have a parking guy and he tells me I have to wait - I do 15 mins. SO I am 15 mins late and the bitch at the front was all rude to me and told me that I had to reschedule and the next apoint was in an hour - so I had to wait... so pissed off!

chocolate brunch is through the early spring, so we have plenty of time to get there...I am usually a health slacker, but I seem to be falling apart these days (eeek!!!). I had an awesome date - actually, a really, really good date...I'm happy about it and just talked to him - so we should be getting together again soon.... Hope you are feeling better....

I was reading something about research data pointing toward a strong correlation between autism and sperm from older fathers. Conventional wisdom is often turned on its ear within a matter of weeks, though, so we'll see how that theory pans out. I was alarmed to hear that the chance of children having autism has gone from 1 in 250 to almost 1 in 100 or something like that, and that increase has happened in only a few years! That must be a sobering statistic to weigh for people considering having children. Yikes.

yeah I take it everyday, but mostly for my skin - that might be why I have not really gotten sick yet, I keep getting stupid allergy throat problems but not sick - thank god I am doing something right
