The following is a rant from your emergency broadcast system, it is only a rant, feel free to tune out at any time.

** disclaimer, All sizes are general, not what I actually wear, I picked a number, so don't assume I'm bigger or smaller than you based on this. Thank you. **

Why I hate shopping for clothes:

Reason 1: Woman's clothes have absurd sizes.
Q-"What size is a Medium?"
A-"Larger than a small, smaller than a large"
Q-"Yes, but what fuckin' size is that?"
A-"Smaller than a large, but bigger than a small."
Frustration follows.

Womans shirts are shaped retarded. If you have a long torso, good luck. I'd wear a size Medium (I think) generally, however, size medium is entirely too short. Size large, however, will make you look like you're practicing with maternity clothes, and its still too short.

Reason 2: Pant sizes for woman mean absolutely nothing.

Men's pants are sized waist by length. The numbers actually mean something, a 30 by 30 is a short skinny guy.

Woman's pants don't do that. A woman's size 12 in Levi is a woman's size 10 in Sonoma. But neither of them will be long enough, or they will be entirely too long. Now, I'm tall, so you would expect a 12 Tall to fit. Wrong; Size 12 fits my hips, but not my legs, or my butt, and Tall is entirely too long.

Unfortunately though, men's pants aren't shaped properly either, so there is no simple Solution.

Reason 3: The difference between Misses, and Juniors.

If a lady happens to wander into the juniors section, not only will she be stared at by the teensomethings with size 0-3 waist, but she will feel like a cow. The juniors clothes are generally more trendy, and though slightly slutty, are what most people wear (not to mention the price difference) For some reason, a size 10 in juniors is equivalent to a size 14 in misses, but that number doesn't actually mean anything. So what the shit?

Misses clothes are generally full of extra fabric, so not only are they larger in size, but they're heavy as well. Making them entirely too hot for people who actually walk places, or work on their feet. I'm not sure who thought of separating these two sizes, but they are insane, and slightly retarded.

Reason 4: Why are my casual wear denim jeans $40?

Not even 5 years ago, buying a new pair of jeans wasn't a big deal. Jeans are usually outlawed at most "business dress" jobs, I assume because they are cheaper and look a bit more casual. With the price of them now, however, they should be allowed at black tie events.

Reason number 5: STRETCH JEANS!

Why do my jeans have to stretch? Why can't they stay stable like the boys. Making stretch jeans makes it even harder to find ones that fit, they expect them to "Stretch" To whatever size you really need, but they're thin as all hell, and when they stretch they just emphasize any weak spots you have weight-wise in the lower body. Once you wear them for a while, they get un-tight, and make you look like you have a saggy butt. So why make these stupid expensive things? Cheaper for the manufacturer, and made generally for people with a .2% body fat ratio. Fuckers.
