Whats the best thing to do after finishing a marathon? The obvious answer is to go home, rip the shitty old carpet out of the living and dining room and replace it with laminate.
So that's exactly what I did - starting Monday - the day after I ran 42.2 KM. New floor, new trim, etc.. And it only took me until midnight 4 nights this week. Apparently my legs/knees weren't killing me enough. Or I am a sucker for pain.
Anywho, looks great. Just finishing putting everything back in place.
Tonight will be the first night in about 10 days that I can relax. Having friends over - Cnd_James and lilcupcake (who is sadly grey at the moment).
Off to Roller Derby to see the lovely trixxx. Good times ahead....
