Well finally have time and energy to sit down and write a short blog about dad. We've dodged another bullet for right now it seems. After 5 days in CCU and aggressive treatments with steroids and breathing treatments they moved dad to a regular hospital room. Then after a couple of days there they let me bring him home.

He's got VERY limited mobility now just due to the pulse ox. This was not an episode it was the next stage of this ultimately fatal disease taking him away.

I just want to thank everyone who paid attention. Thanks to everyone who prayed, had good thoughts, and cared. There is only one person on this entire site that I know (not the whole site) who I expected to get a message from saying they hoped he died and they actually had the kindness not to say anything and I thank them too.

Hopefully when this happens again dad will continue to respond to treatments. Ultimately he won't and the respitory failure will take him to his Creator. I hope we can have another 2 or 3 years because he's the best dad in the entire world and I can't imagine my life without him.
