I am offended..... you will make time for me. I've been here cooking and cleaning and carying on all day.... naw just kidding, stop and take a breath sometime, it's good to be busy just don't burn yourself out.
most of the things pictured are from Franconia Sculpture Garden, which is miles from civilization in Minnesota. the water tower is even more in the middle of nowhere. it's a lovely state to be in.
Grand Rapids is sooooooooooooooooooo far north. holy crap. I consider the middle of nowhere to be, like, central Minnesota. Grand Rapids is three hours north of that. sheesh. I need to get out more.
and just for the sake of perspective.. the water tower was only 2 hours away, plus it happened to be right next to the world's largest ball of twine made by one man.
I'm all about the cheesy roadside attractions, yo.
I would've posted pictures of the twine ball but I thought that would be too hokey in my "things that are bigger and awesomer than life itself" entry. the twine ball is both of those things, but not in the way that huge shrink-wrapped horses are.
read that story. please. or else i'll have to drive over there and use some sort of instrument to hold your eyelids open while i hold the stupid book in front of your face for hours on end..
