I second your pet peeves. Especially #1. 10% is really not a reasonable amount for a tip. I used to tip 10% as a minimum for servers who were not conscientious, forgot things, had bad manners, etc., but I don't know their reasons for such lapses. When you consider what the minimum wage is for people who are supposed to be getting tips, and then you figure that some a$$holes are too cheap to tip at all, please keep your minimum at 15% -- 18% if you aren't buying alcohol.
