Last week was schoolgirl spawn jr's birthday. Yesterday, I threw the most kickass 2 year old birthday party ever! I cooked a whole bunch of lasagne and meatballs and veggies and stuff. Our apartment was decorated beyond ridiculousness with streamers, balloons, Spongebob and Elmo stuff. I can't bring myself to cut a knife through elmo's face on the cake cause it's so damn cute. haha.
Em had an awesome time and so did everyone else. my place was pretty crowded with friends and family. you bet I made party bags even though there were no children. oh my god, I am such a dork. *shakes head and giggles* I just wanted my daughter to have fun and some photo memories, even if she is just 2.
Do I really have to clean up? my birthday is this coming weekend. I will be 21 with 7 years of experience. so I could legitimately procrastinate taking down the decorations, right? (please say yes).
I got this card for her that says, "Daughter, the world is a better place cause you're in it." Inside the card says, "The world is a lot sillier, of course, but definitely better."
