sup stalkers, I soooo missed my wonderful SG friends. Sorry I worried so many people for going anon for a while. There was a very good reason. Thank you for all your concern and tons of emails and constant IMs. I love you for all the support and a seriously cool appreciation thread from Oracle where you guys said the sweetest stuff.

Soooooo, you wanna know why this girl is so happy?


Today I got divorced. That's right, DIVORCED!!!!!!! And I am utterly thrilled. This whole thing for almost a year was really painful. The three years that lead to it, the police, the domestic violence, identity theft, orders of restraint, child custody, debt, fraud, harassment, you name it are neatly placed into a legal document that binds an agreement to protect my child and we all can have a good life.

Yup, I was not expecting it to be so easy too. I thought we would take years, but he was surprisingly agreeable and very humbled. My lawyer was very proud of me for being reasonable and calm. And I am super happy!!!!!!!!

I love the best part of reclaiming my last name. I am totally excited to also change my daughter's last name to a hyphenated name of both parents. no alienation. I think we might one day be civil to each other, which it seems like we could be on the right track. why have animosity forever especially if the child suffers?

All I wanted is for it to be over and I can't believe it!!! I am so happy with the life I have been living supporting myself and daughter and you bet that I will continue working hard as I can to make her life as full of smiles as possible.

I love you guys and appreciate all your supportive friendships. you mean a lot to me.
