did manson play stuff off of portrait of an american family? he played NOTHING off it when i saw him. to say the least i was pretty pissed by that since that is by far my favorite manson album.

My hubby and luckyP were at the show last night too. I couldn't go cause I had to work, but they had a great time. I'll be sending you our address, if you would be so kind as to do the same. Oh, and your never too old to have fun! Don't you dare put away the goth attire and makeup!

Too old to be goth??? I'm pretty sure that is not a possibility! As far as the striped stockings, you have the body type that will allow you to wear them till the bitter end. I still shop at Hot Topic, too. I look at it this way, they are kinda like a freak version of the GAP, a great place for basics. Of course, if you want something of a higher quality, you gotta pull out ye olde sewing machine or prepare to pay through the nose...

You're never too old! I love it when I see people rocking the original shirts/outfits. Hell, I usually see/hang out with people my parents' age at most of the shows I go to now! The old schoolers are usually the cooler ones in the crowd. When you feel you're too old is when you should stop, not when someone tells you to; and if that's never, keep on thrashin' 'till death, hehe. Be the proud old schooler in the audience when your daughter is old enough to attend gigs.

I used to have TONS of Manson stuff, but I just sold the last of it. However, I do have some old calenders from 96 and 97....and some bootlegged cassettes. If you're interested in copies of the tapes, let me know. Once I find the calenders, if you want them, they're yours too. I kind of got out of him once he released MA, although it was a decent record. Everything after that I cannot stand. I still have my copy of Portrait, and that'll be pretty much all that remains for me.

sounds like you had a fun time at the manson concert.. im jealous, i havent been to a manson concert yet, and i hear good things about them.

Now about the being too old to got o concerts and stuff.. well this is my theory on that. When the song you hear now-a-days or the songs that you generation listens to, is on the oldies station. Is when your too old to go to the concerts. But that just a theory. I know i just will always be me.. no matter how lame that may be

I think it's funny that Madonna Wayne Gacy didn't even know how to play the keyboard when they first formed the band. I think he was the obligatory "guy who's in the band because he has equipment we need". Actually, I think they ALL were. They've definitely grown into themselves quite nicely.

PS - I don't know. How old does Marilyn himself have to be before he's too old for Marilyn Manson? I think you'll be okay.

you're never too old to have fun! And if you introduce you children to it later, think what a life it will be! My wife and I have vowed to never grow up [not the typical peter pan syndrome, but the good kind of not growing up! ], and we try everyday to instill having fun to our two sprogs! It's as simple as ....things like making a game out of eating breakfast: who can make the funniest face whilst still swallowing all their cereal? (the short end of the stick is it always seems we're late for school!)
Anywho, just have all the fun you can, and enjoy it, life's there to make the most out of!
