glad to hear you two are doing well. i miss talking to you too... we are finishing all the divorce papers this week... its funny... but she ended up owing me child support some really good news... when i get back to maine i can start buying a house! my uncle started a mortgage company and my cousin buys/sells properties and they said theyd hook me up with a duplex so i could live in part of it with a friend of mine and rent the other half out. im pretty excited for that. if im not back to maine by x-mas though i think i will go insane. best wishes,

Perhaps I'm not the friend for you: back when I was in school, I got in a big fight with one of my philosophy profs. (who was a devotee of Willard Van Orman Quine) about patterns. He maintained that there were patterns; I argued that there was no way to prove that our recognition of patterns was not merely apophenia. I was post-modern before post-modern was cool!

I just got more hooked on socks after starting work at Sock Dreams. I have so many cool socks now and about 100 more I want to get. Its great working there because I can ask for -and sometimes even get -cool stiped color combos that no one else has... We just got in hot pink and green. They are soooooo pretty!!!!!! You should check out the site.. If nothing else, my boss Niqkita has some fantastic photography of all the socks!
