Have you ever tried hair cholesterol? It sounds really gross, I know--but they should sell it at most stores in giant tubs. It's this nasty, pasty goop that you smear all over your head as a last desperate measure when your hair is breaking apart. Crazy thing is, it tends to do the trick. Have fun in Iceland!
