sometimes it's good to move on. memories last a lot longer then the physical things themselves. now if i could follow my own advise. i'm a frikkin pack rat bad. biggrin
bridgetwnpeddler:
I unload crap every year to the goodwill it keeps the closets relatively empty. But still when I move there is all this crap that must be processed and moved around and memories refreshed and let go of. It is difficult.

I hope your stuff finds a good home. I will keep my eye out for quirky stuff from a cutie at a low key yard sale. wink

see, its usually me and my sister that have to help my mom get rid of useless junk; for instance, my parents just bought a new house recently, and my mom refused to put anything in the kitchen up for weeks until we both got there, because the amount of useless stuff my parents have collected over the years is ungodly:

my sister: (after literally three hours of trying to force my mom to get up and do something about the mess),

"Why don't we play a game! the rules are simple: if you can name: 1.what the hell this thing is, 2.what its purpose is in the kitchen 3. one time in the last year somebody who lives here has actually used it, and 4. prove to me that you don't have another one somewhere, we won't get rid of it!"

my mom: "well...I don't know..."

sister: "Come on, it'll be fun!" whatever

By the time whole expierence ended, we caught my mom trying hide things from us several times, just so we wouldn't get of them surreal tongue

The University I was at before cancelled the program I was majoring in half-way through the semester, with no warning to any of us at all. So, I'm basically out, oh...$20,000.00, with bearly anything to show for it mad Good thing I have, like, 40 years to pay the loan back.

Like I told you before, good luck w/ your bother; sounds like you certainly need it...kiss
