I'm going to take some time to work on some art and probably read since it's rainy here this weekend. I love the rain. And I especially love the rain when I'm sitting inside in my pjs reading a good book with a giant cup of coffee.
Here's some beautiful Rainer Maria Rilke poetry I've been reading - it's so so good. I love when you read a poem and then you sit there in the afterglow and let it wash over you. Like a poetry orgasm. Mmmm. These are like that for me.

And as promised, here are some pictures of drawings I've been working on lately. I usually just let my mind wander and drawing becomes almost meditative for me - anyone else get lost in a black hole of thought while they draw / paint / sculpt / whittle?
It's all about the layers! lol
These are all done with micron / prismacolor markers / pencil. @tulfanbru ever try lettering like that? It's effing difficult! But it's fun to try different fonts.
