Are you going to school to be a doctor or nurse?

I have my nose pierced and I haven't taken it out, even though I have a very professional job. I just make sure I have a very small piercing in. I was surprised that people don't seem to care too much about it, but I try to keep it as discreet as I can.

I feel like it's a tiny part of the "real" me that I let show when I'm trying to be Ms. Professional Grown-Up Lady.
kikibabe:
So you mean a PhD doctor?

I worked full time almost the entire time I was an undergrad and in graduate school. It's hard; I won't lie. If you're determined enough, you can do it.

I'm a church secretary and believe it or not, they don't care about my piercings. Unless you''re doing a residency they probably wouldn't mind clear plugs.

true, maybe soon I'll start again but I'm actually ok with it they, to be honest the lack of smell ( and you know what I'm talking about if you've stretched your piercings) is worth it alone lol.
