Ok my friends. I won't be able to update for a couple of days. Today's the beginning of the unknown. After wrok tonight, I've got to get lunch stuff together, the sleeping bag, my derby stuff etc.... cause the girls are picking me up at 4am Sat morning and then heading to meet our van which is sceduled to leave at 4:30am. We spend the day in the van heading to Ventura. Once we get to Ventura we check in to our hotels, suit up, check in to Ventura Fairgrounds and then it's on. We're second up against the Orange County Rollergirls, which having seen some of ther clips on youtube... look pretty damn good. hahah.. Talk about the odds stacked against you, will be up from 4am until midnight or later, we've only bouted one other team in the existance of our league and we got smoked.... hahahahahha it's gonna be great. I know that sounds sarcastic but I actually really mean it. It's the same thing I told the girls, the whole experience is just getting us ready for our season. These are things we HAVE to do in order to get better as a team. I'll let you know how it goes........ wish me luck and lots of love
